Syrian Motex Exhibition for children's apparel opens in Amman

AMMAN– Syrian Motex Exhibition for Textile and Fashion/ 2012/ on Friday opened at Amman-based Meridian Hotel with the participation of 70 Syrian companies specialized with children's clothing.

Chairman of Damascus Chamber of Industry, Bassel al-Hamwi, said that the Exhibition is a main promotion access for the Syrian textile products in the foreign markets, adding "it is one of the most important textile and apparel markets for the Syrian products in the region."

He pointed out that more than 5000 businessmen were invited to visit the Exhibition from Jordan, Palestine, Iraq, Libya and others.

Member of the Board of Directors of Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Fahd Tawileh underlined the importance of boosting cooperation between Syrian and Jordanian businessmen and encouraging them to establish joint projects that benefit the peoples of the two countries.
