Al-Mikdad: USA and Zionist entity mastermind the ongoing aggression against Syria
DAMASCUS_ The Syrian people do know that the USA and the Zionist entity are the mastermind for the ongoing aggression against Syria, Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Dr. Fayssal al-Mikdad declared.
In an interview aired by the Syrian Satellite TV last night, al-Mikdad added that the orders regarding the ongoing aggression are for Turkey, France, Britain and for some Gulf countries in support of the terrorist groups and organizations as to shed the blood of the Syrian people.
Al-Mikdad asserted that the current Turkish Government, led by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, deserves to be enlisted on international terrorism list and to be punished for its support to the terrorist al-Qaeda organization and for opening doors and borders for Wahabi groups as to penetrate into Syria and perpetrate crimes against the Syrians.
Al-Mikdad underlined that the Turkish Government's hands are stained with the blood of the Syrians and that the Turkish People, who stand in its majority against the policies of Erdogans's Justice and Development Party, would hold Turkey's government accountability because of its complete failure in its policies, blasting the free-of-charge services offered by this government as to satisfy the USA and Israel, suppress the freedom of Turks and support terrorism in the region.
He blasted vehemently the two speeches delivered by Egyptian president, Mohamad Morsi, whether before the Non-Aligned Movement, NAM Summit in Tehran or before Arabs' Foreign Ministers in Cairo, as 'very far from the reality' and as a 'flagrant interference in the domestic affairs of Syria' and as to stir up violence, which makes of Morsi responsible for the shedding of the Syrian blood.
Al-Mikdad pointed out that Morsi contradicts history and doesn't comprehend it and wants to establish relations with Arab countries through the establishment of alliances representing the US and Israeli policies in the region, asserting that many of the changes in region were US and Israeli-made.
The Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister reiterated that the way out of the current crisis in Syria is for Syrians, in all of their spectrums, to sit at the dialogue table as to decide by themselves what they want with no foreign interference and to present the would-be achieved to a popular referendum as to decide the future of Syria.
Al-Mikdad pointed out that the solution is present in Syria and that the way for national dialogue is open for all political powers as to achieve the restoration of security and safety to the Syrians, who miss them, because of the armed terrorist groups which kill, destroy, expel, and perpetrate brutal crimes away from any morality.
He asserted that the halting of foreign interference, of financing terrorism in Syria, of arming and sheltering terrorists would speed up the solving of the crisis in Syria.
Al-Mikdad voiced Syria's welcome to the appointment of the international envoy, Lakhdar Ibrahimi, to Syria, as Syria did with Kofi Annan, the former UN envoy, his 6-point plan, and with UNSMIS mission, declaring that Syria would talk, with an open heart and a sincere desire, with Ibrahimi, and would listen to his advice and views, and would cooperate in establishing UN Office in Damascus to follow up and enable Ibrahimi to be in the picture of the ongoing in Syria.
Al-Mikdad pointed out that the sacrifices, heroism, and achievements of the Syrian Arab Army in protecting the Syrians, dismantling terrorism groups do confuse the enemies of Syria and make them backtrack from their schemes aiming at the cancellation of any role for Syria in the restoration of the Arab rights, on top of which are the Golan and Palestine.
Al-Mikdad highlighted the 'good' international support to Syria from countries with international weight citing NAM countries support.
The Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister blasted the League of Arab States decision to cut the Syrian Satellite TV's transmission by Arab-Sat and Nile-Sat as a 'moral degradation' in violation of the international declaration of human rights, and of all international values, asserting that the western no comment on such a suppression of freedom proves but the hypocrisy and lies practiced and made by the west.
