Popular Committee in Al-Yarmouk Refugee Camp: Terrorists committed massacre in the area to punish locals

DAMASCUS- The Popular Committee in al-Yarmouk Refugee Camp said that the massacre committed by armed terrorist groups, which claimed the lives of 10 martyrs, is intended to punish the locals for refusing to get involved in the conspiracy against Syria's security and stability.

In a statement released Friday, the committee pointed out that the armed terrorist groups are carrying out a punishment policy against the residents by committing murders, terrorizing citizens and forcing shops to go on strikes.

The committee reiterated the solidarity of the Palestinians in the camp with the Syrian people and leadership in the face of the plot which aims at undermining Syria's national and pan-Arab role.
