Phoenix Festival continues on outdoor stage along Tartous Corniche

TARTOUS- The 4th Phoenix Bird Theatrical Festival continued its activities on Wednesday on outdoor stage on the corniche in the coastal province of Tartous.

A number of plays have been performed within the Festival, which kicked off on Tuesday, including " Kingdom of the Dead", which was performed today.

Fuad M'anna, and the play's director and the Festival's founder, said the play expresses the conflict the human being experiences with the surrounding elements to secure the least requirements for his life.

A rap show was also performed by rappers Hadi Sleiman, George Massouh and Rani M'anna, during which a number of songs were sung that dealt with the situation and concerns of the young generation in light of a number of social issues.

'Oriental Girdle', the other play performed today, by the Phoenix band, raised many questions including those related to the self, the identity and the existence.

Throughout the period of today's show, a number of national songs were performed stressing that Syria is well and will get out of the current crisis victorious.
