Local and international delegations visit wounded army personnel

DAMASCUS/LATTAKIA– The Russian media delegation currently visiting Syria paid a visit to Tishreen Military Hospital in Damascus on Tuesday to check on wounded army personnel who were injured in the line of duty while confronting terrorists.

Members of the Russian delegation, which is visiting Syria to shoot documentaries on the events in Syria, wished the wounded a swift recovery and presented them with flowers.

The delegation members also attended the funeral processions of martyrs at the hospital and offered condolences to their families.

Similarly, a delegation from the Syrian community in Saudi Arabia visited Tishreen Military Hospital to show solidarity with the army personnel who were injured while carrying out their duty of protecting citizens and public and private properties.

The delegation members presented the wounded with flowers and wished them a speedy recovery.

They said that they wished to see what is happening in Syria in person to uncover the falsities broadcast by Arab and non-Arab satellite channels, adding that visiting the wounded army personnel is the least they could do.

They called upon all Syrian communities abroad to visit their homeland and see the reality for themselves to discredit the rumors spread by biased channels.

In Lattakia, the Syrian National Campaign group visited wounded army personnel in Zahi Azraq Military Hospital, expressing their great appreciation for the sacrifices made by Syrian soldiers for the sake of preserving the country's unity and sovereignty and protecting its people.

The wounded thanked the group members for their initiative, voicing readiness to continue making sacrifices to protect Syria.
