Otri Calls for Enhancing Partnership Between Businessmen and Domestic Economy Sectors
Damascus- Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Otri called for mobilizing domestic potentials and enhancing partnership between businessmen and the domestic economy sectors in supporting the process of comprehensive development in Syria.
During a meeting with chairmen and members of the Syrian businessmen councils, Otri underlined the role of these councils in solidifying economic and trade cooperation ties between Syria and the Arab and friendly foreign countries.
He stressed the importance of maintaining the reputation of the Syrian products, their elements of quality, specifications and prices as to raise their export competitiveness in foreign markets.
The meeting also tackled a host of issues concerning the tasks of the businessmen councils and the mechanisms regulating their ties with Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture, Tourism and Maritime Transport.
