SYP 10 million value of damages in health sector in Haffeh due to sabotage acts

LATTAKIA- Health Department in Lattakia stressed that the value of the  material damages of the health sector in Haffeh area in Lattakia due to sabotage acts perpetrated by the armed terrorist groups reached SYP 10 million.

Director of Lattakia Health Department Doctor Wafik Darwish pointed out that the sabotage acts targeted the national hospital, the health center in the city and a number of ambulances and cars.

He added that the total value of the losses in the health sector since the beginning of the events are estimated at SYP 14 million and included the health centers in al-Faid in Jabla, al-Skantouri, Masbah al-Shaab, al-Slaibeh and al-Qanines.

The total human casualties of the health sector in Syria reached 22 martyr doctors and nurses and 42 others wounded.
