Israeli equipment destined for S.Korean Samsung Co. seized in Algeria
Algerian security services are to conduct an inquiry into the import of Israeli equipment to the South Korean Samsung Engineering company in charge of the rehabilitation works of Skikda (in north eastern Algeria), Algérie1 has learned from reliable sources.
It all began with the seizure of more than a dozen Israeli manufacturing equipment hidden in the bottom of containers or other materials that were imported from Korea in the past week.
According to the sources, other equipment already installed at the site of the refinery have been discovered with the statement "Made in Israel" scratched.
It’s worth mentioning that Samsung Engineering won the contract for the rehabilitation and modernization of Skikda refinery for $ 2.6 billion since more than a year.
